Azita Hedayati, born in Tehran (1966), is an Iranian painter and visual artist who holds a Bachelor's degree in Painting from the Islamic Azad University of Tehran. After completing her university studies, she began her professional career in the field of visual arts and, for a period of two years, worked as an art teacher in private schools. Azita Hedayati's works are a reflection of lived experiences, identity, nature, and human emotions. In her works, she focuses on the cultural dialogue between Iranian cultural heritage and contemporary European art, and by drawing inspiration from geometric forms, architecture, forgotten symbols, and elements of nature, she has created a unique visual language. The use of green and turquoise color palettes, rich textures, and symbolic compositions gives her work an atmosphere between reality and imagination, inviting the viewer to a poetic, emotional, and thought-provoking experience. After immigrating to Slovenia, she expanded her professional career internationally and, while maintaining her Iranian cultural roots, developed her visual language in interaction with the European art scene. Through her effort and perseverance, she became a member of the Association of Visual Artists of Maribor (DLUM). One of her works has also been published in the book "100th Anniversary of Professional Artists of Slovenia," which indicates her professional standing in the country's art community. Azita Hedayati's works have been exhibited in numerous group exhibitions in Iran, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, and the United States via the internet. She also received an international artist certificate from Maya Gallery during a group exhibition in Vienna. All of her works are created using the oil on canvas technique. Her works have been well received by art enthusiasts and collectors, and many of them have been selected and purchased with love and passion.
