About me

My name is Farideh Salimi, born in Shiraz. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Painting. I have been painting since around 2009, participating in various group exhibitions both in Iran and abroad, and I have also held a solo exhibition. In addition to landscapes and still life, the central theme in most of my paintings is women. Being a woman and living in a place where this subject is inherently complex and challenging has deeply shaped my artistic focus. Through imagined spaces in my mind—and especially through color, with its powerful purity of expression—I strive to convey these challenges to my audience.
