Niksen

This word means doing absolutely nothing and being alone with your own thoughts without judgment. The people I worked on in the bus and subway seem to be all 'niksen'-ing; even though they are on a moving bus, when you look into the eyes of these characters, it is as if they do not exist in this space. It's as if everyone is 'niksen'-ing, playing with their mobile phones, chatting, watching movies, or are busy with the virtual world until they reach their destination.
