Panamanian photographer Dahlia Dreszer's exhibition "Bringing the Outside In" at Green Space Miami delves into the integration of AI in art.[1] Utilizing tools like Stable Diffusion and Midjourney, Dreszer presents vivid still lifes combining traditional photography with AI-generated elements. The exhibition, running until May 17, 2025, also features interactive components where visitors can engage with AI to create art in Dreszer's style.
Dreszer views AI not as a threat but as a new artistic medium that enhances creativity, describing it as a “supercharger” rather than a replacement. She confronts criticism by highlighting the collaboration, time, and nuance involved in AI art creation. While acknowledging challenges such as lack of control over AI outputs, she appreciates its potential to produce unexpected results. [2]
Dreszer rejects the idea of a “post-human” art era, seeing AI as a complement to human creativity.
The exhibition space itself is transformed into a hybrid environment, blending elements of a garden and a living room. Fabric and plant installations, many sourced from previous events, create a tactile, immersive experience. Large-scale photographs featuring flowers, plants, and textiles reinforce the materials physically present in the space, blurring the boundaries between image and object.
Dreszer's work invites viewers to consider how memory lives in objects, how culture is carried through generations, and how technology might help reimagine both past and future. The exhibition stands as a testament to the evolving landscape of art in the age of AI.

On May 2, 2025, the Aula der Wissenschaften in Vienna opened its doors to "Tell Me the Truth," the most extensive solo exhibition to date of Ukrainian artist Ivan Marchuk. Spanning two floors, the exhibition showcases approximately 400 of Marchuk's most renowned works, encompassing all 15 of his artistic cycles. From haunting Ukrainian landscapes to surrealist dreamscapes, visitors are immersed in the mind of a master who has painted over 5,000 works during a career spanning more than 70 years.
The opening gala attracted over 500 guests, including members of the Ukrainian diaspora, Austrian and international art enthusiasts, diplomats, and government officials. Notable attendees included representatives from the Austrian Foreign Ministry, Vienna’s city council, and Ukraine’s cultural community. Ambassador of Ukraine to Austria Vasyl Khymynets emphasized the significance of Marchuk's work, stating, "The Maestro's works are unique tools of diplomacy. They present Ukraine truthfully, as our country is."
In addition to the exhibition, the Ivan Marchuk Charitable Foundation was established earlier this year to preserve and promote the artist's legacy. The foundation aims to ensure the accessibility of Marchuk's cultural heritage through exhibitions and educational initiatives.
