Niksen

This word means doing absolutely nothing and being alone with your own thoughts without judgment. The people I worked on in the bus and subway seem to all be Niksen-ing; even though they are on a moving bus, when you look into the eyes of these characters, it is as if they do not exist in this space. It is as if everyone is Niksen-ing, or playing with their mobile phones, chatting, watching movies, or occupied with virtual space until they reach their destination.
